Blurb

Grady Summerville is facing a slow and agonizing death, but
has come to terms with his disease and doesn’t fear dying. However, fate has other ideas,
presenting him with a future thanks to Max Steele. Grady owes his very life to Max, and as
his health improves, finds himself falling head over heels with his savior.

Max Steele has been forced to leave his pack and everyone
he knows to move to the West Territory to be a blood donor for Grady. He knows it’s the
right thing to do, but it doesn’t mean he has to like it.

As tensions escalate between the two packs, Max finds his
loyalty tested and is torn between following his alpha, or following his heart.

If Max doesn’t make the sacrifice then it will be Grady
making the ultimate sacrifice and paying with his life.

Excerpt

Max couldn’t believe he had Grady in his arms at last. And, oh
my God, the way Grady looked at him with those big green eyes, as if Max was
everything. He’d promised Marrok he’d wait for Grady to make the
decision—not that it was truly a choice at all—that they should be together, and everything
in Grady’s demeanour, in his expression, screamed he was ready. Still, Max hesitated.

“Are you sure this is what you want, Grady?”

Grady nodded, then buried his face against Max’s throat.

Max groaned at the feel of Grady’s tongue against his burning
skin. “I need to hear the words,” he gritted out.

Grady paused, then pulled back, meeting Max’s gaze. “Yes. Yes,
I want this. Yes, I want you.”

That was all Max needed to hear.

He grabbed Grady’s hand and almost dragged him to his
bedroom. He’d waited weeks for this and with each week that passed the draw had only
gotten stronger. Each transfusion had placed him on a sexual knife’s edge, and he’d almost
reached breaking point. The bond between shifters was compelling, and it had been torture
denying what his body was longing to do.

They stopped beside the bed where Max lowered his mouth to
Grady’s once more. The kiss was intense, Grady groaning into his mouth and pushing against
him. Max continued to kiss him, at the same time, fumbling with Grady’s shirt buttons. He
soon had the shirt undone and on the floor, closely followed by Grady’s jeans. He finally
broke their kiss and maneuvered Grady to the edge of the bed and nudged him. Grady took
the hint and sat. Max knelt at his feet and took off his shoes and socks, then pulled the jeans
the out of the way from where they had bunched at Grady’s ankles. Even Grady’s feet were
beautiful—long and slim, with graceful arches. He stroked along one foot, and ran his hand
up Grady’s leg, stopping with his hands on Grady’s knees. He looked up.

Grady met his gaze full on. He was flushed and kiss ravaged, his
lids were hooded, breath coming fast. As Max looked at him, he flashed a small smile. Max
rose on his knees and kissed him again. Will I ever get enough of his kisses?

He ran his hands up Grady’s slim thighs, the light dusting of
hair tickling his palms. He allowed his palms to skim Grady’s sides, chuckling a little when
Grady jerked. Ticklish. Interesting. As his fingertips trailed across Grady’s ribs, he
couldn’t help but note how thin he still was. It gave him momentary pause, but regardless of
his lack of bulk, Max knew Grady now possessed a strength that belied his size.

Grady gripped the sides of his head and Max gave in to the
gentle tug, allowing himself to be drawn into another of those amazing kisses. Grady
reached for his buttons, lips never losing contact, so Max raised his hands and helped.
Together they made quick work of the buttons and Max’s shirt joined Grady’s on the
floor.

Max skirted Grady’s sides again, lowering his hands to the
waistband of Grady’s briefs. He pulled back slightly, the question in his eyes.

Excerpt from book 3

“Come back inside, Cassidy,” he urged. “I don’t know why, but I don’t like the vibes I’m
getting out here tonight.”

Teags intuition is fueled by strong magic, so I take his “vibes”
seriously. I’m pretty good with both intuition and magic myself, and I felt a shiver go down
my back. “There’s something out here,” I murmured, looking down the alley toward the
streetlight at the end and seeing a dark shape in the roadway I had not noticed
before.

“That’s what I’m trying to tell you,” Teag said. “Come
back where it’s safe.”

Wardings protected the old antique shop against
dark magic. Salt and iron lay beneath the sill of every door and window to repel evil, and as
an added protection, sometimes we had a nearly six-hundred-year-old vampire staying in
the secret room in the shop basement. Teag and I both wore protective amulets, and when it
came to defending ourselves, we were no slouches. So when I lingered a moment longer, I
took a calculated risk.

“We need to see what that is,” I said, jerking my
head toward the lump that lay near the far end of the alley. I let my athame slide down
beneath my sleeve into my hand and jangled the old dog collar on my left wrist, smiling as
the ghost of a large dog appeared at my side. Teag muttered something under his breath and
joined me a moment later, carrying a wooden martial arts staff and a wicked
knife.

Together, we advanced on the shape, which lay still
in the dim glow of the distant street light. A mangy cat paced near the body, staying just out
of reach as we approached, even though Bo’s ghost growled and stepped toward it. If the cat
could see Bo, the ghost dog didn’t intimidate him. I paid attention to what my senses were
telling me, shivering at the resonance something evil left in its wake. Yet the closer we got to
the thing in the road, the more certain I became that the threat itself had come and
gone.

Silas Mercer died once.
He’d rather not do it again.

Blurb

1885 London, England

Silas Mercer died once. He’d rather not do it again.

On his return to the world of the living, Silas finds himself
in the hands of the mysterious Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

The Order has London society clamouring for their services,
with tarot readings, seances and exorcisms among their arcane specialities.

Now they seem intent on making Silas their newest
recruit.

But they want far more from him than cheap parlour
tricks.

When the Order partners him with the scandalous rake,
Tobias Astaroth, Silas’s new life is turned on its head in more ways than one.

Tobias is quick-tempered, dangerously charming, and far
more than the man he seems.

For Silas, surviving what the Order has planned for him will
be a challenge.

But finding a way to survive Tobias Astaroth could prove
impossible.

A slow-burn MM Gaslamp Fantasy series.

Contains: Sexual content, violence and rather a lot of
cursing.

This is the first book in the thrilling Gaslamp Fantasy series,
The Diabolus Chronicles

Excerpt

Mr Astaroth was clearly drunk. Reason perhaps why he

failed to be wearing any shoes. Silas noted the large brown stain upon the white of his linen
shirt with great consternation. The mark appeared not dissimilar to blood. His dark trousers
bore a tear at his right thigh, and the material at his knees was notably caked with
dirt.

Gilmore cried out, more pain in the sound this time. ‘You’re
breaking my leg, you bastard.’

Silas looked to the bandalore, hoping there might be a
musical direction sung to him. But the wood was quiet. He should go to the man’s
assistance, Silas needed no magical trinket to tell him so. Man, or gnome, Gilmore was in
clear distress. But Silas hesitated.

‘Dear me, do you think I would truly do such a thing?’
Tobias’s words got away from him, slipping and sliding from his intoxicated tongue. A
shadow curved around his right eye, a rising bruise.

‘I know you would,’ Gilmore hollered. ‘You crave harm
more than your cock craves fucking.’

With no warning, Tobias landed a punch against Gilmore’s
belly. Half-hearted as it was, it at last spurred Silas from his reticence. He took a step
forward.

‘Now, see here-‘

‘Tobias! Set him down, now.’ Jane moved across the green,
clad in a nightgown of the most delicate white lace. Combined with her airy way of moving,
it was as though a ghost rushed towards them. ‘Now, Pitch. I will not ask you again.’

The man’s smile was a cruel slash across his damaged face.
‘As you wish. Catch him if you can.’

He lowered Gilmore and seemed certain to set him down,
albeit on his head, but at the very last moment, he drew back his arm and swung the frantic
Gilmore straight up into the air. Without an ounce of effort apparent, Tobias’s throw sent
the screaming, kicking man skyward. Soaring higher even than Silas’s cottage roof.

‘Help me!’

Gilmore seemed to hang in the air for a moment. His
scream curdled the blood.

‘Gilmore!’ Silas dashed in beneath the unfortunate gnome,
seeking to position himself so he might catch Gilmore when he fell. A dangerous notion,
considering the speed of descent, but the man would surely suffer grievous injury
otherwise. Silas glanced at the grinning man at his side. The viciousness that simmered
within Tobias Astaroth’s emerald eyes was breathtaking.

‘Stop!’ Jane’s command came with a rush of violent wind. A
great force swept past Silas, lifting the hairs on his head. The gust swept in beneath the
tumbling Gilmore, and at once his downward journey halted in a dead stop in midair. The
gnome sobbed, hanging limp against his invisible support, drifting slowly down, a leaf upon
a gentle breeze.

‘Why must you ruin my fun?’ Tobias folded his arms, staring
hard at Jane as she approached, a pout upon his full lips.

The sun drifted from behind a cloud, its rays setting his
eyes alight once more, and marking the pronounced angles of his face. Despite his notable
injuries, his odd beauty, accentuated by bowed lips and long dark lashes, was still evident.
Rather captivating, if Silas were honest, but he’d just now glimpsed a ferocity beneath the
delicate exterior which lent it a certain ugliness.

Blurb

Love is for other people, not for me.

At least that’s what I believed, until I met him.

Julian Hill.

The most famous rock star on the planet. A music god with
untidy hair and the voice of an angel.

I’ll never be anything but out, and he has very good reasons
to stay in the closet.

After all, every move he makes is dissected, critiqued, and
posted on social media, so he just wants a little privacy.

I understand that. Truly.

But no one makes me feel the way he does, and I’m pretty
sure he has feelings for me as well.

Which is inconvenient since his record label hired me to sue
him.

I should’ve sorted things out before I kissed him.

Oops.

Ambiguous is a forbidden mm rock star romance about a
fashion-forward singer who hates labels of all kinds (except for clothing), a dapper attorney
who already has a (fake) boyfriend for a very good reason, and the possibility of love saving
the day.

Excerpt

Julian takes my breath away. While I’ve met plenty of
celebrities, with him I feel this hit to my solar plexus. I freeze, because he’s so hot it’s too
much to process.

Dark, perfectly mussed hair. Dark brown eyes. Tan
skin.

His black pants are painted on, highlighting his lanky form.
He’s wearing heeled black boots with chains on them and a loose, lacy, unbuttoned blouse
and piles of long pearl necklaces. Rings on every finger click as he fidgets. His Adam’s apple
moves as he drinks from a bottle of water.

He started with a boy band a decade ago. And, while I listen
to plenty of pop music, I’ve intentionally ignored him just to piss Emily off. I’m mature like
that sometimes. I’m not sure why I even started that—she and I love a lot of the same music
and go to concerts together whenever we can, but at some point I decided he was just too
cheesy, and then it became a
thing. Julian is now on his own, the only
one from his original group to have a successful solo career.

Of course I’ve heard his music. I’m generally aware of him,
because I live in a condo in America and not under a rock cut off from communication with
the outside world.

I’ve just never put his songs on voluntarily. Now I wish I
knew more about him.

The table’s been set up for the meeting with bottles of
fancy water and carafes of coffee. Readying himself for introductions, Julian sets down his
water and stands up.

I walk over to shake his hand, and it’s like it happens in slow
motion. One second I’m standing, and the next my toe hooks on a chair leg and I go flying.
My flailing wrist manages to knock his open bottle of water from the table, and I take him
down to the floor in one fell swoop, splashing water all over him as I go.

He lands on the industrial carpet with an “Oomph,” and I
end up sprawled on top of him.

Heat singes my cheeks. Oh shit, oh shit. I won’t blame
him if he pulls a diva fit after I ruined his clothes. They’re next season’s Gucci.

I start mentally updating my résumé.

“Oh my god,” I whisper, fumbling up to the table to grab a
stack of paper napkins from the coffee service while struggling to get off of him as fast as I
can.

Julian frowns, and then he jackknifes up to a sitting
position, forcing a laugh. His now-wet shirt leaves little to the imagination, revealing the
shapes of tattoos scattered all over his chiseled torso. I kneel at his feet and start wiping his
pants, only to realize that, yeah, I’m trying to dry off the crotch of a Grammy-nominated
recording artist.

“Oh my god,” I repeat. “I’m so sorry.”

I can’t stop dabbing at his crotch.

With a white napkin.

That’s leaving shreds of wet lint.

On his dark designer pants.

I’m making it so
much worse—
and my reaction to him is getting
worse, too. Partly because there’s a bulge underneath that zipper, and it’s not small. Like,
not
at all small. Partly because he smells amazing—like maybe rum and vanilla—which makes
my body hum and my cock wake up.

Even though I don’t live my life as a train wreck, apparently
it can get derailed in one second flat.

Can being Beau’s
housemate and plaything, transform into forever love?

Blurb

A one-night stand with my housemate wasn’t the best idea,
but that doesn’t stop me from wanting seconds.

Beau is unexpectedly everything I want. He respects me
and accepts me the way I am. He takes charge but relinquishes control to me when I feel the
need.

Nothing’s ever simple. He might be the Mister Right I didn’t
know I was looking for, but he has family issues and we’ve agreed to keep our fling secret
from our housemates.

Will he ever want me to be more than his secret
plaything?

Plaything is an
mm D/s romance. It includes sexy role-play, cross-dressing, spanking, breath play, and a
small amount of hurt/comfort. It’s the second book in the
My Kinky Housemate Series and, while it can be enjoyed as a standalone, you’ll find out more about the
housemates in book one,
Sugar Bunny.

Trigger warning: mentions of drug addiction.

Excerpt

Joey peers at Beau. “I’m not sure Fraser would like you if you were boring.”

Beau grins. “Well, maybe I’m not that boring, then.”

“Do you get on with your twin?”

“Enough to live with him,” I say.

“Yes,” Beau replies. “We’re very close.”

“It must be nice to have a brother or sister,” Joey says wistfully. “It’s just Mum and me.” He
rubs his arms.

“You’ve got Fraser,” Beau points out.

Joey grins at me. “Yeah, I do. He’s amazing.”

My cheeks heat up.

“I know I can rely on Fraser. I can tell him anything. I wish he were my real big brother
sometimes.”

“I’m the next best thing,” I say, ruffling his hair. “And I’m not going anywhere, okay? You will
always be able to count on me.”

Joey hugs me. “Thank you.” The words are muffled as he’s talking into my chest. “Can Fraser
count on you?” he asks Beau.

“Yes.”

Joey purses his lips. “Can I talk to you?” he asks, staring at Beau. “Alone.”

Beau looks at me.

I hold my hands up. “It’s okay with me. I’ll be over here.” I point towards the octopus tank.
I’ll be out of earshot, but I’ll be able to keep my eyes on them both.

It’s not that I don’t trust Beau, but Joey is my responsibility. I stroll away and then turn and
watch them, arms folded. They’re having a serious conversation. Beau is doing lots of
nodding, and Joey is pointing at him in a way that might have been menacing if he wasn’t
such a cute kid. Then Beau puts his hand on his heart and says something with a solemn
expression on his face. That done, Joey waves me back over.

“What was all that about?” I ask.

“Our secret,” Joey says.

Beau puts his arm around my waist and whispers in my ear, “I’ll tell you later.”

I give him a knowing look. I’m pretty sure my little brother just gave my boyfriend the ‘dad’
talk.

Dash Cassidy loves his
town even more than his bike, but his priorities have a violent shift in gear when an
irresistible Russian hitman comes along.

Blurb

Darius ‘Dash’ Cassidy has ended up president of the small
town of Salvation’s Iron Knights motorcycle gang, almost by accident. His sister, Zara, is the
more business-savvy and ambitious of the two, but their father—the infamous Butch
Cassidy—was far from politically correct, so Dash was left in charge.

Up to now, Dash has been more than happy to muscle his
way through life as his father did before him, even if he is starting to suspect that something
might be missing.

But now there’s a new player in town. Iris Damaro has
plans to make Salvation the center of her international smuggling operation. Dash isn’t
going to sit still while Damaro steamrolls through his town, but when the crime boss sends
her alluring Russian number two, Nikita Vasiliev, to do her negotiating, Dash realizes he may
be in over his head.

Can Dash figure out where his priorities lie before his
town—or his heart—is lost forever?

Excerpt

The doorbell jangled and in stepped Nikita Vasiliev.

He was perfect, not a speck of dust or gleam of sweat on
him. He wore a tight black T-shirt and jeans, which did very little to stop Dash from picturing
what might lay underneath. His bare arms were surprisingly toned, the muscles sliding
under his pale skin as he moved. His smile was thin and his eyes, like white-hot needles,
drove right into Dash’s belly. His suited shadows followed, their expressions hidden by
sunglasses.

“I told her the same thing I told you,” Vasiliev said
smoothly. “I told her to think about it.”

Dash stood, his hand on his gun. Furniture scraped as the
diners stood and looked vainly at the exit, now blocked by the suited goons.

“No, please,” Vasiliev said as he came forward, sinuous as a
snake, his fine-boned hands held out, palms up. “Do not let us interrupt your meals.” The
diners slowly lowered themselves back to their seats, and the Russian turned his smile on

Dash. “Mr. Cassidy, let’s not ruin these fine people’s mornings.”

“What do you want, Vasiliev?”

He raised his eyebrows. “Your pronunciation is improving.
Did you look it up on YouTube?”

“Gentlemen,” Rosie barked, “this here may be an old-
fashioned business, but it’s still my business. Either you order something or take your
business elsewhere.”

“I’d say that’s fair,” the Russian said, perusing the menu on
the wall. “My associates will take a coffee. I believe I would very much like to try
your…blueberry pancakes?”

“Comin’ up,” she said, nodding reassuringly at Big Bill
through the hatch, as his face had grown stormy. “Cassidy?” she said, tilting her chin. “I
don’t care who your daddy were. My place, my rules.”

“Refill,” he said without moving.

A wider smile spread over Vasiliev’s sculpted mouth. He
drifted past Dash to a booth against the wall. “Shall we act like civilized adults?”

Dash glanced at the heavies as they took stools at the end
of the counter, between him and the door, and sat.

Vasiliev lowered himself into the seat opposite,
interweaving his long fingers on the scarred Formica tabletop. Dash realized for the first
time that his fingers were slightly crooked, the skin webbed with scars as fine as silver
thread.

Rosie slapped a plate of pancakes and a syrup jug on the
table. She set a fresh coffee in front of Dash with a hard look then hastened back behind the
counter.

“What are you doing here?” Dash asked in a low voice.

“Quite incredible,” Vasiliev said, pouring syrup on the
pancakes. “I was just about to ask you the same thing.”

“You don’t scare me, Vasiliev.”

“Don’t I?” He met Dash’s eyes as he lifted a forkful of
pancake to his mouth. He chewed, scowled then pushed the plate away. “Bliaha. How can
you have something so sweet for breakfast? May I?” Before Dash could speak, Vasiliev had
sipped from Dash’s mug, his blue eyes boring into his over the rim. “Ah,” he said, lowering

the cup. “Seems America does get some things right.”

“What do you want with Rosie?” Dash said, fighting to keep
his voice under control.

“I came to see if she had had any further thoughts on our
proposal,” Vasiliev said, dabbing his mouth with a napkin. “But I’m guessing her position is
as yet unchanged. No matter. She has thirteen more days…just like you.”

“What happens then?”

“That’s our business.”

Dash leaned forward on his elbows. “Your boss may be
used to getting what she wants, but she won’t get what she wants from us.”

“Then she’ll kill you all.”

“I’d like to see her try.”

Evrard . . .Rhys . . .Evander . . .

Evander has gone by many names in the last thousand
years. He’s lived almost as many lives, using his immortality and his unique shapeshifting
abilities to become anyone and any
thing. His goal was simple: to eradicate
the malevolent magic threatening all humankind.

After finally succeeding, Evander feels he’s earned a
justifiable and peaceful retirement. But the past never stays buried, and he discovers that
it’s been watching him . . .

Marcos, the Guardian of War, has waited, he’s observed,
he’s admired, and he’s yearned. But now it’s time for him to step into the light and let
Evander see him for who he truly is.

But fate is fickle, destinies aren’t set in stone, and as much
as Marcos hopes Evander might be his, it will be the fight of his life to not only win Evander’s
heart, but to defeat the evil that once again raises its sinister head.

Excerpt

Marcos knew he would not tire easily, but Rhys—Evander, that was Evander
under that unassuming exterior, a marvel that would never fail to astonish
him—undoubtedly would.

After watching him for hundreds of years, both keeping near to him, and also keeping his
distance, Marcos was still not sure how reduced his power was.

Marcos knew he’d retained some of the magic he’d possessed before, but unlike when he’d
been the Guardian of Secrets, now, he was clearly more particular about how and when he
used it.

“We should stop for a rest,” Marcos said, after they’d been walking all night and partway
into the day, almost without pause.

They’d stopped once, to fill their waterskins at a cold, bubbling stream. They’d long since left
Beaulieu behind, and they had not even passed through a single village. Out of choice,
Marcos had assumed, but it still surprised him that Evander kept to the disguise of Rhys.

Surely now that Marcos had revealed himself, Evander would let the shape of unassuming,
gruff Rhys melt away until he finally was himself again.

Except not once, as far as Marcos knew, had Evander taken his normal shape since he’d been
banished.

But now, now that he was with Marcos again, surely the subterfuge was unnecessary.

Rhys glared at him. Even after all these hundreds of years, watching Evander be someone
else, he was not used to seeing Evander stare out at him through someone else’s face. “Do
you need to stop?” he asked.

“No, of course I do not,” Marcos said. “I am a Guardian, I could walk all the way up the
North Mountain without stopping. But . . .”

“But I am no longer a Guardian,” Rhys interrupted him. “Your point is clear.”

But even if it was clear, Rhys was obviously annoyed that Marcos had brought it up.

He doesn’t trust you, he thinks you’re to blame, which isn’t all that surprising, and now
he thinks you’re patronizing him.

It was not the most auspicious beginning, but Marcos still held out hope that maybe they
could forge a partnership, even after all this time had passed.

He just had to stop himself from saying the wrong thing and angering
Evander—he is Rhys, Marcos reminded himself—even more.

So far, he had not managed even that.

Rhys stopped when the sun reached its zenith in the sky, finding a shady grouping of trees,
with a large fallen log they could rest next to.

“Is this sufficient?” There was still a bite to Rhys’ words.

“Perfectly sufficient,” Marcos said, taking care to make sure there was no additional
inflection to his words that would anger Rhys further. He certainly was not going to be
stupid enough to remind the ex-Guardian that he did not need to rest at all.

Rhys settled down against the log. He looked tired. Perhaps if he changed forms, back to
Evander, he might find additional strength. Maintaining a different form could be a strain on
his power reserves.

Marcos would have suggested it but the silence that had fallen between them, and Rhys’
defensiveness every time he made even the simplest suggestion, kept him quiet.

He waited until Rhys closed his eyes, and then shut his own, sure that Rhys, who was
obviously exhausted, would fall asleep quickly.

But a moment later, Rhys spoke up. “You did not mean to reveal yourself to me.”

Marcos had never been as accomplished a liar as Evander had been. He’d never needed to
be. Fighting was often straightforward, with little need for deception, and he’d never gotten
into the practice of telling falsehoods well.

He could lie, but it was unlikely Rhys would believe him, and the chances of

Rhys being even angrier at the lie were considerable.

“No,” he said carefully. “No, I did not mean to reveal myself.”

Rhys looked like Rhys, and not anything like Evander, not like . . . not like the Guardian he’d
known for so many years . . . but Marcos’ heart beat faster anyway when he opened his eyes
and Rhys was staring at him—like he was trying to figure Marcos out, still.

Never Have I Ev… Wait, what was the question again?

What happens when an ill-advised party game makes it
obvious I’ve still got my V-card?

Embarrassment. A lot of embarrassment.

Especially when the sexy, older guy at the party who
witnessed the whole thing turns out to be someone I have to see every week. Not to
mention my best friend’s cousin.

He’s not only straight, but way out of my league.

It’s going to be so awkward for both of us.

Or awesome…if his protective nature and flirty attempts to
teach me how to date lead to the kind of tutoring that lives in my fantasies. But how likely is
that to happen? I’m not known as the sweet, naive one among my friends for
nothing.

I’m probably imagining those looks he throws my way.
Probably projecting my own want onto his expression.

But…what if I’m not?

Never Have I Evan features an inexperienced, shy tech
geek, an assistant football coach who oozes confidence, a town full of quirky, nosy residents,
and sexual awakening and discovery themes!

“Linc was moving fast. His hands were all over you.”

I flushed, remembering the uncomfortable feeling of Linc pressing close. I’d ordered myself
to relax, to try to enjoy the attention.

“Isn’t finding a guy who actually wants to be close to me the point?” I said before I could
properly filter my thoughts. The words came out strangely accusatory.

Dawson didn’t flinch from my words though. He grew even more intense. “No. The idea was
for you to flirt a little and get comfortable with seeing yourself as someone worthy of
attention.”

“Okay…”

“You are, Ev. You deserve someone who will appreciate everything about you,
from your intelligence to your sweet blushes. Not just your…”

“What?”

His voice came out in a whisper. “Your amazing ass.”

My face heated as I laughed. “What?”

Dawson took a second to gather his thoughts. “I kind of pushed you into this, when you
think about it. I didn’t mean to, but… All that teasing about learning to flirt, and me playing
wingman. Maybe…”

“Maybe what?”

He spoke slowly, the words seemingly pulled from somewhere deep inside. “Maybe I was
too invested in your sex life.”

My heart skipped. Was he saying what I thought he was saying?

“Why would you be?”

“I don’t know.” He hesitated, then added, “Say the word and we can leave this idea behind.
You don’t need to lose your virginity. Who cares as long as you’re happy? If or
when you want sex, it’ll happen.”

“But I do want sex!”

I clapped my hand over my mouth, realizing my voice had risen.

Dawson raised an eyebrow. “With Linc?”

I dropped my hand, sighing. “Not really.”

He nodded. “What about with me?”

My breath caught. I stared at him, unable to speak, my brain stuck on his words, sure I’d
misheard him. “Sorry?”

“Do you want to have sex with me?”

I licked my lips, suddenly nervous. “Why would you ask me that? You’re not…into men.”

“Not normally,” he said. “But the thing is, I can’t stop thinking about what happened the
other night.”

“Your body reacted to stimulus, that’s all. It was embarrassing and awkward, but—”

“It wasn’t just that. I mean, thanks for giving me an easy out, but no. I keep thinking about
you, specifically. You and me, and…all the things I could show you.”

Heat washed through me. For once, it wasn’t embarrassment, but something headier. Did
Dawson want me?

“I must be dreaming,” I murmured.

“I don’t want there to be any confusion,” he said. “I’ve never been into guys before, and I
don’t know why this is different. My last relationship ended horribly, and I’m not sure I can
ever date again, can ever have someone trust and rely on me that way. But, uh, we
could…explore things. Together.”

“Sex things?” I said, needing to clarify.

Despite the tense tone of the conversation up to this point, Dawson suddenly smiled at me.
There was a predatory gleam in his eye. “Yeah, Ev. Sex things.”

I expelled a big breath, my head spinning. It was a lot to process. I’d been so certain Dawson
was entirely out of reach—especially after Bonergate. But instead of freaking over his
reaction and trying to stay away from me, he wanted to pull me closer. To explore his
sexuality with me.

It was probably a terrible idea, right? What if he ended up hating it? What if I fell in love
with him while it was just sexual release to him?

But as Dawson Woods, the most gorgeous man I’d ever seen in real life, offered himself to
me, I knew I’d never say no. Dawson checked all my boxes. Even if it was only physical, it
would be incredible to experience it with him. And unlike Linc, or any of those guys on apps,
I knew him. I trusted him.

“Okay,” I said, knowing I might never get a chance like this again. “Yeah.”

If there was emotional fallout, I’d deal with it later.

“Yeah?”

Some sense of preservation made me say, “But you’ve got to kiss me first. I’ve never been
properly kissed, and—”

I want to be sure you’re not turned off by it.

Dawson’s mouth came down on mine before I could finish my sentence.
