For years, Mik has wanted nothing more than to put coal in
Rudy Snow’s stocking.

As former pro hockey players, they’ve been rivals for years.

It started in Mik’s rookie season, when a reporter pitted him against his older brother’s best
friend. Rudy pushes Mik’s buttons like no one else, going out of his way to one-up him at
every turn.

Now they manage pubs in a small town that takes
Christmas to a level best seen in Hallmark movies, but not much else has changed. They’re
still rivals, this time pitting gingerbread martinis against pomegranate sangria.

But when they’re forced to work together to plan a special
holiday party, sparks ignite. Maybe it’s a bad idea to put coal in Rudy’s stocking after all.
They both might just catch fire.

Then again, what better way is there to stay warm on a cold
winter’s night?

Christmas Falls is a multi-author M/M romance series
set in a small town that thrives on enough holiday charm to rival any Hallmark
movie.

“You certainly know how to make a splash,” said a dry voice
at his elbow, shaking him out of his irritation.

And setting into motion a new kind of annoyance that
fizzled in Mik’s blood. “No one asked you,” he said to his brother’s best friend.

Rudy Snow raised one dark eyebrow, because
of course he could do that. When Mik tried, he ended up with both eyebrows at his
hairline.

“It’s certainly . . .” Rudy cast his gaze around, taking
everything in. “Unique.”

“It’s majestic.”

“It looks like the Island of Misfit Toys. All you’re missing is a
Charlie-in-the-Box.”

Crossing his arms over his chest, Mik clenched his teeth.
“You’re not allowed to judge. You don’t even have a wreath on your front door.”

Rudy made a sound in the back of his throat, a rumbly
laugh that made the back of Mik’s neck itch. “Do you often happen to find yourself outside
my house, Miki?”

Mik’s stupid feelings went all gooey at the nickname. Or
maybe that was just hunger. “It’s on my way to work.”

“Sure. If you take the long way.”

God. Why did he have to be so annoying?

And hot.

And annoyingly hot. All dark-haired and dark-eyed and
scruffy-jawed, with a natural tan to his skin that perpetually made him look like he’d just
come from the beach. He stood a couple of inches taller than Mik’s five feet eleven. At a year
older than Mik’s thirty-one, Rudy was as fit now as he’d been when he’d played in the NHL,
even two and a half years post-retirement.

Mik had considered himself lucky to be drafted to his
brother’s team’s rival. With Mik playing for Washington and Josh playing for Pittsburgh, it
had given Mik the chance to step out of his brother’s shadow and assert himself as his own
person. And playing up the rivalry between their teams had been all sorts of fun at family
get-togethers.

The problem Mik hadn’t anticipated had been
twofold.

First, because Josh’s rookie year had been the gold fucking
star of rookie years, Mik had been instantly compared to him when he’d been drafted a year
later, forevermore casting him in the role of Josh Gilmore’s little brother.

Second, there was Pittsburgh defenseman Rudy Snow. And
Pittsburgh defenseman Rudy Snow wasn’t shy about checking his teammate’s little brother
into the boards during Mik’s first Washington versus Pittsburgh game.

“It’s no secret in the league that your brother and his
teammate Rudy Snow are good friends,” a reporter had said to Mik during the post-game
interview after that game. “What do you have to say to your brother’s best friend after that
check in the second period?”

Um, nothing?

He’d barely known Rudy. Plus, checking was what hockey
players did.

While both those things were true, that hadn’t been what
the reporter wanted to hear. So Mik had smirked and said, “That he better watch out. He
won’t get the jump on me again. In fact, next time, I’m going to swipe the puck out from
under him and score. Just wait and see.”

Mik had later learned that Rudy had responded to that with
a pithy, “He can try.”

And that was it. Instant rivalry.

Joey Christopher has never had an easy life, but
living with Allen made everything better, until it wasn’t.

Blurb

Joey Christopher has never had an easy life, but living with Allen made
everything better. His mere presence made Joey happy and made life seem more
manageable despite Allen’s serious faults. However, when Allen is arrested during a drug
bust Joey must learn to live on his own for the first time. He even spends some time in a
homeless shelter, while he does everything possible to get Allen home to return to the life
they once lived-only better.

Excerpt

Joey had been very busy that day; there was a major book sale and a well-
known local author had stopped by for a reading and book signing. He was thankful for the
distraction, because he was having one of his weak days. Then, toward the end of his shift,
Gary showed up suddenly. Joey had not noticed him until he came up to the counter, being
the next customer in line, and Joey happened to be the cashier who was free.

Even before he could turn in his direction, he heard Gary’s voice and recognized
it immediately.

“Well, well, well, I’m going to have to come here more often,” Gary said with his
characteristic bright and easy smile. “How are you, Joey?”

Joey’s heart stopped for moment, after hearing his name from such a familiar
voice. He looked up from the cash register and saw Gary smiling brilliantly at him. He was
always such an open and friendly person, albeit a little too friendly at times.

“Hi, how are you, Gary?” Joey managed to say. He did not want to repeat the
mistake he made with his earlier exchange with Brian and Jason. Besides, Gary was probably
there for business-related reasons and not just as a customer.

“I’m good. I had been trying to call you, but your phone was out of service.”
Joey had changed his cell phone number for obvious reasons.

“Yeah, my number changed.”

“Well, I never thought I’d see you again,” he said sincerely. “Anyway, I was
having a get-together Friday night and, well, would you like to come?”

“I don’t know,” Joey said honestly. “I remember what happened the last
time.”

“All that’s over,” Gary reassured. “Folks have moved. No more drama.”

“Well…maybe.”

That’s all Gary needed to hear. “Here’s my business card. It has my cell number.
Call anytime.” Gary carefully placed the card on the counter. To be courteous Joey picked it
up and put it in his pocket. Then Gary furtively winked at him and left. The next customer
walked up to the register, and Joey started to ring up her purchases.

Joey told himself that he wouldn’t go; he couldn’t go. He meant to take the card
out and tear it up before leaving work, but forgot. When he got home later that night he
meant to take it out and rip it up, but he was so tired that he just got ready for bed and went
to sleep. The end of the week came and the card was still there in his jeans pocket. He
happened to wear the same pair of jeans that Friday that he had worn on the day of Gary’s
visit. Joey took a deep breath as the last customer left and he went through the store
rearranging misplaced books on the shelf and tidying up the store. Mr. Griffin came out of
his office and told him that Joey could go home early. He would finish up.

The next day was going to be busy with another book signing and Joey was
going to be the only person that morning. The older woman who had worked there last
time, Mr. Griffin’s cousin, would not make it to work until later in the day.

So Joey left the store and told himself he was going home. He wanted to go
home. But somehow he found himself at 7 pm standing on Gary’s porch, one of the first to
arrive at his party.

Michael wants to keep Hunter unbroken, but is it worth pursuing a relationship with his new
obsession?

Hunter

Hunter’s life changes forever when he is sold at an auction

Hunter resists his owner and craves to have his freedom and old life back. But is the new life
that Michael is offering him better than the only one he’s ever known?

Content Warnings: This book contains explicit
M/M sexual content and includes kidnapping, a human auction, involuntary collaring,
spanking, chipping, restraints, and the use of a Taser. Reader discretion is

Excerpt

Michael moved in closer, and Hunter shut his eyes. The only
two things he could focus on were Michael’s fresh cologne and the feel of the collar as
Michael put it on around his neck.

Hunter opened his eyes when he sensed that Michael had
moved away.

A small smile spread across Michael’s clean-shaven face as
he observed Hunter with his piercing blue eyes. “That’s better. I knew a collar would look
stunning on you.”

Hunter stared, horrified. Letting Michael put the collar
around his neck was an act of submission. And Hunter
hated it. He hated Michael for buying
him and forcing him into something he didn’t want to be a part of. It was clear to Hunter by
the way Michael had spoken to him that he was the type of man you didn’t say no to. The
type of man that got whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.

That only fueled Hunter’s anger toward him.

But he was also confused. What did a man like Michael
want from him?

Questions ran rampant in Hunter’s mind. His mouth was
painfully dry, and he felt a headache coming on. The silence and those eyes on him,
watching him … it was all too much.

“Where are you taking me?” Hunter finally managed to
ask.

“To my home. I’m sure you will come to like it.”

Why did it matter whether Hunter liked it or not? He was
being taken against his will.

“I want to know where exactly. I’m still in the States,
right?” Hunter asked.

Michael’s gaze wandered over Hunter’s body before settling
on his face, making Hunter’s skin grow hot.

“We are still on home soil, my dear pet,” Michael said,
purring the last word and making Hunter’s stomach flutter with a mix of emotions. Disgust.
Fear. Anger. It all balled into one and consumed his entire being, making his body
tremble.

“You have a lot to learn, but that will all have to wait until
we get home,” Michael said.

Just the state he was in—sold against his will, wearing a
straitjacket, and forced into a collar—made Hunter realize that he was at the mercy of a
complete stranger. Michael clearly was a wealthy man, and if he had money, then he surely
had power.

It all proved that Hunter had no control over what
happened to him next. What would Michael do to him? What would Michael
make him do? The sheer realization of his predicament sent a spike of panic through his
entire being. Feeling sick to his stomach, Hunter breathed harder. He felt like he was
suffocating, and no matter how much air he tried to gulp in, it still wasn’t enough.

Hunter looked away and closed his eyes. Swallowed once,
twice, but saliva refused to fill his parched mouth and throat.
Fuck. Was he going to throw up?

“Calm down, Hunter. Breathe,” Michael said.

All Hunter could think about was what type of freaky shit
awaited him. Was Michael going to make him his personal sex slave? Was he going to force
him to star in porno films?

When a hand settled on his shoulder, Hunter startled and
gasped for breath. He opened his eyes and stared at the man who had stolen his life from
him.

Carter Maxwell knows he’s a screwup. Four teams in three
seasons tells the story, as much as he wishes it didn’t.

But finally, he’s landed in a good place, where he
likes the team and the team actually likes him. Even the Condors’ current rebuilding mode
suits him. There’s a new owner. New coach. New players. New rules.

But one rule hasn’t changed: don’t seduce your agent-appointed c*ckblocker.

Ian Parker agrees to live with Carter and keep him
on the straight and narrow for one simple reason: Alec, the agent in charge of cleaning up
Carter’s reputation, has promised him something Ian wants very, very badly.

Even more badly than Carter naked above him and
below him and next to him.

A chance for Ian to become an agent.

But Ian didn’t take into account just how persuasive
Carter is—or just how desperately he desires to be persuaded. Or how, while spending time
with Carter, they’ll somehow stumble into a fake relationship that begins to feel all too
real.

It doesn’t matter that Carter’s never fallen in love
or that he’s never been in a
real relationship. It doesn’t matter that
Ian’s risking his future as an agent.

He’s determined to score the impossible and
reform the bad boy—only after encouraging Carter to misbehave one last time. But this
time, only with him.

Excerpt

“Wait a sec,” Ian said, standing too, but reaching out
and casually catching Carter’s arm. “I know this is going to be awkward, me being around all
the time. I just wanted to acknowledge that, first off.”

“Is it?” Carter really hadn’t thought much about it;
honestly, he’d been too busy trying to figure out how to get around rule number
one.

“Well, yeah, in my experience it is. Most people who
run into us together are going to want an explanation. Your friends. The players here. The
coaches. The staff. Anyone you meet.”

“And what? I shouldn’t tell them why you’re really
around?”

“I’m…” Ian hesitated again. “I know what my previous
clients and I would do. We’d discuss ahead of time what role I’d be playing. Often, since I was
in LA, they were well known, so it was easy to pass me off as a personal assistant or a friend.
But here—”

“Nobody’s gonna have a personal assistant around
them all the time,” Carter said. “Especially not me.”

Ian looked surprised again.

“What,” Carter retorted, “I’m not an idiot,
okay.”

The frost in Ian’s expression melted a little more.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply that you were.”

“You wouldn’t be the first,” Carter said wryly. “Why
can’t we just tell people what you really are?”

“You’d be okay with that?”

Carter realized with a jolt that the person who was
really worried about this wasn’t him, the way Ian was concerned about, but Ian
himself.

Wasn’t that interesting?

“It’s hardly like people don’t know my reputation,”
Carter said.

“Oh. Alright. Well, that’s your choice.”

“We can just say you’re my
what…companion?”

“If that’s the word you want to use,” Ian
said.

But as they walked out of the conference room,
Carter couldn’t shake the feeling that Ian was the one who was preoccupied with not
only what to call himself, but maybe even what kind of position he’d be occupying in Carter’s
life.

As they walked down the hall, and Carter pushed the
down elevator button, to take it to the lower level and the team cafeteria, Ian turned to him
and said, “Well, you getting shut down by half the team is pretty good news for rule number
one.”

Carter rolled his eyes. “Not when I could go to the
Pirate’s Booty or any other bar or restaurant or coffee shop in the city and find someone to
pick up in point five seconds.”

“Modest, much?”

“Listen, you wanted honesty, that’s the honest truth
right there.” Carter had sex because it was easy, yes, and it also helped stem the tide
of his temper. Maybe if sex had been harder for him to come by, he’d have found something
else to use.

But sex was easy, for him, so sex it
was.

Or at least it had been sex.

Carter mournfully poured one out for all the great sex
he wasn’t going to be having in the next few months.

What happens when love
is sink or swim?

Blurb

Actor Tucker Crawford is having the worst summer ever.
Thanks to a viral video of him trying to swim, he’s the laughingstock of Hollywood and his
role in a hit TV series is in jeopardy. The only bright spot is Tucker’s sexy new swim coach,
Reed Oliver, but even that has its problems—because Tucker is deep in the closet and has
never been with a guy.

Reed Oliver is having the best summer ever. He’s just scored
a high-paying freelance gig teaching a Hollywood actor how to swim. The two of them have
the run of a deserted summer camp, complete with an Olympic-size swimming pool. But
when cocky playboy Reed meets shy, virgin Tucker, sparks fly and Reed’s walk-in-the-park
coaching job becomes a minefield of temptation. Once they kiss for the first time, there’s no
way to overcome their mutual passion and no looking back. But after two weeks of secluded
intimacy, can they keep their romance alive in the real world?

Excerpt

Tuck made a tongue-clucking sound and then sipped the last of
his beer. “My strategy at this point is just get through the day without another scandal, you
know?”

Reed gave him a stern, fatherly glance. “You’ve got to let that
go, Tuck. You can’t let it control your life.”

“Easy for you to say, Reed.”

“I know it, but that’s what we’re here for, right?”

Tucker sat up, and little ripples fluttered across his concave
belly. Reed inched up as well and reached to open the cooler top so one of them could slip
their hand inside. Tuck obviously had the same idea, and their fingers glanced across one
another’s as they reached for the lid.

“Sorry!” they blurted at the same time, descending into
mirthful little beer-buzzed giggles until Reed noticed they were still lingering in each other’s
grip.

“I’ll grab the beer.” Reed reluctantly pulled his hand away.

“Okay, but it’s gotta be my last.”

Reed glanced at the two or three bottles left inside the
shimmering ice. “Oh yeah?”

“Big day tomorrow, right?”

Reed sighed. For some reason, the last thing he wanted to do
with Tucker at the moment was work. Coach. Admonish. Correct. Teach. “I mean, it’s not like
we have to set our alarms, though, right?”

Tucker gave him a wry grin. “This how you are with your
swimmers back home?”

“Hell no,” he barked, very much the same way he might at
them. Then he softened. “But this is different.”

They were still sitting up. The sun caressed Tucker’s smooth,
unlined face like an unseen hand, and they were mere inches away from each other
now—so close Reed could smell the chlorine in Tucker’s hair and feel the heat coming off his
half-naked body in tempting, shimmering waves that Reed felt deep inside his clenched gut.
“Oh yeah? How so?”

Their eyes met in the afternoon sun. Reed’s answer was
revealing in more ways than one. “I’m miles away from home, kid.”

One glance, and his past
life was history.

Blurb

Leander Talbot’s life changed forever when his wife died.

He is now reluctantly venturing back into society, knowing that, as the Earl of Ockley, he
must marry again to produce an heir. But he can’t bring himself to the sticking point. Instead,
he spends his time evading the matchmaking mamas of the ton.

The dark and dangerous Duke of Arden is an infamous
libertine. It is said that he seduces innocents, and there are even more sinister tales
whispered of his predilections. Only the wild young blades who form his retinue know the
truth, but he is shunned by all save those wishing to court notoriety.

A chance meeting brings Leander into Arden’s orbit.
Ignoring the warnings about Arden’s intentions, Leander is drawn into a seductive world of
sexual indulgence. There, he finds the freedom he craves from his overbearing family. By the
time he suspects Arden might have ulterior motives, it may be too late to save his
reputation—and his heart.

Excerpt

Leander sighed slightly. He had immersed himself in work
and duty since Bella’s death, but it was only now he understood how removed from his
contemporaries he had become. Most faces here were unfamiliar to him. Take the character
in the corner—a dark complexion, his dress rich but careless in a way that proclaimed he
cared little for the opinion of society. Leander was certain he had never set eyes on him,
though the deference with which his circle of friends was treating him indicated that he was
a man of some standing. He took the opportunity to ask the servant who brought him a glass
of champagne.

“His Grace the Duke of Arden, my lord,” the man informed
him.

The name was one with which Leander was familiar. It was
a name with which all of London and some of the more enlightened provinces were familiar.
Arden represented all that was decadent in the
ton, his philandering ways extending far
beyond opera dancers and actresses to ladies of quality. And it was not only widows or
liaisons with married ladies, for it was said of him that he had ruined more than one young
maiden. The number of duels that he had fought and won, the drunken orgies at which he
presided, and his losses and gains at the gaming table had all assumed the proportions of
legend. There were still darker things whispered about him. Only the coterie of wild young
blades who formed his retinue knew the truth of these, but the intimations were there, and
Arden remained unrecognised by all save those wishing to court notoriety.

Leander became aware that Arden was returning his gaze,
his heavy-lidded eyes holding what appeared to be a gleam of amusement. As Leander
watched, Arden raised his glass in a mocking salute before putting it to his lips and tossing
back the contents.

Perhaps it was the champagne, perhaps it was the shock of
realising that his acquaintances now viewed him as a prig. Whatever the reason, some
demon prompted Leander to his feet. In defiance of all proper behaviour, he crossed the
room to Arden and introduced himself.

Those dark eyebrows raised briefly, a noble head was
inclined, and one of the young men clustered around Arden was moving from his seat,
offering it to Leander.

“So you’re Ockley.” The duke’s aristocratic fingers curved
elegantly around the stem of his glass and his dark eyes surveyed Leander as he sat. “I didn’t
think this to be your sort of place. I’d thought you more of a White’s man.”

The provocation was there. It was well known that Arden
had been pre-emptively blackballed by the respectable club lest any member lose their
faculties and propose him for membership.

“Indeed?” Leander said stiffly, his somewhat lamentable
temper aroused by Arden’s dismissal of him as a priggish bore. “And I thought you a legend,
sir. A cautionary tale used by protective parents to keep young cubs in line.”

Reaction rippled through the assembled ranks, but
Leander’s gaze was on Arden’s face. A smile touched his lips as he looked at Leander. “A
palpable hit, Ockley,” he murmured. His voice was rich and soft, with a hint of steel that
intrigued Leander.

“Lea.” Henry’s voice broke in. He was not precisely floored,
but he was foxed enough to ignore all dictates of manners as he tugged insistently at his
brother’s arm. Knowing that if he resisted, Henry would only become more forceful, Leander
allowed himself to be raised to his feet. His brother had been the same since nursery
days—when he wanted something, he wanted it
now, and it was usually attention he
craved. Leander directed a small bow towards Arden, whose smile had widened at the
spectacle Henry was making of them both, before following his brother’s urgent strictures to
leave immediately.

Excerpt

“Are you awake?”

Tucker’s voice was hoarse in the dark, barely above a
whisper to match the surreal nature of the moment. All the same, Reed responded in kind,
his voice as husky and hoarse as the deep, dark night that surrounded the rustic cabin, filling
it with quiet mystery and the by-now-familiar thrum of humid temptation. “Of
course.”

Tucker snorted, just shy of a chuckle and mixed with a quiet
gurgle of relief. He wasn’t sure what he would have done if Reed had answered with a snort
or a snore and then rolled over and gone back to sleep. He’d been waiting for over an hour
to make his move, so he shifted over on his mattress and lifted himself up on one elbow to
peer over the bottom bunk to the floor directly by his bed.

He smirked and rolled his eyes, trying his best to be
alluring. “What are you doing down there, anyway?”

“You were so drunk last night.” Reed glanced up from the
fuzzy striped comforter splayed out beneath him, “I didn’t want you to roll out of bed and
bust your head open.”

Tucker struggled to retain his composure at Reed’s half-
naked form, sprawled out on the floor literally at his feet. Moonlight caressed his quietly
grinning face in a most flattering way. “What were you gonna do, catch me in your
sleep?”

“If I had to, yeah.”

He slid his hands beneath his chin and gazed down at Reed
the way teenage girls stared at the posters of rock stars and screen idols from old black-and-
white movies on their walls. “Besides, I wasn’t that drunk.”

Reed made a face. “Okay, bud.”

Tucker was hungry. And thirsty. And hard as a rail beneath
his boxer briefs, pressed thick and tight against the mattress beneath him. “Well, I’m not
now.”

Reed lay flat on his back, looking up, as if he’d been waiting
for Tucker to open his eyes and look down at him. He lifted his hands and gave a little golf
clap, the soft sound vaguely startling in the middle of the night. Outside the screen door,
only a stray cricket chirped in the deep stillness of the forest. “Congrats. I guess I can get into
an actual bed now?”

Reed made no move to leave, and Tucker was glad. He was
enjoying the view—every smooth, savory, moonlit inch of it. Before Reed could stand, to
make good on his promise, Tucker slid one hand away from beneath his chin and pressed it
flat against Reed’s chest. It was warm and hard and lean and softly humid in the cabin’s
almost stifling heat. It was also beating like a jackrabbit. The feel—the pulse—of Reed’s
pounding, frantic heart was vaguely encouraging.

“Let’s not be too hasty, now.”

Reed’s playful smile froze into something less than amused,
if not quite startled. He didn’t say anything, not right away, but it was clear he wanted
Tucker to move his hand. So he did. Moved it just a smidge lower down Reed’s chest and
drifted it lazily toward his suddenly stiff nipples.

“Tucker, stop.” Reed’s voice was a groan, his words a lie.
Every fiber of his being, every slick sheen of sweat and rat-a-tat of his pounding heart, every
thrum of vibration throughout his taut, pale skin said, “Go,” not “Stop.”

Blurb

Tight end Landry Banks knows the score when he signs with
the Charleston Condors in a rebuilding year.

New owner. New coach. New players. New
rules.

But one rule hasn’t changed: Don’t hook up with your best friend’s little brother.

Rookie quarterback Riley Flynn knows what it takes to make
it in the NFL. He’s in Charleston to prove himself—to the world and to his teammates, but
mostly to his older brother, who’s never believed he could be a star.

The last thing he expects is for his brother’s best friend
Landry to welcome him with open arms and an offer to become roommates.

Riley’s always believed Landry was straight—but the way
Landry keeps checking him out leaves him suddenly unsure. And Landry’s hot looks certainly
don’t help squash the crush he’s always had on his brother’s best friend.

Revisiting his teenage crush isn’t part of the plan. But as he
and Landry fall into a rhythm of thrilling plays on the field and sizzling tension off it, there’s
no denying their connection.

Riley isn’t willing to trade becoming the next big
NFL superstar for love. But with a man like Landry Banks waiting to catch anything he throws
at him, maybe he can have both.

“How many years do you and Aidan have between
you?” Landry answered Riley’s question by asking one of his own.

Riley leaned against the counter, clearly at home with
a knife in his hand. Even a big shiny chef’s knife. If Landry tried to use that, he’d probably
accidentally cut off a finger. At the very least, an emergency room trip would’ve been in his
future. But not Riley. And more than anything else, that confirmed what Riley had just
claimed.

They didn’t know each other very well, despite
the fact Aidan had been his best friend forever.

“Almost eight years,” Riley said. “So yeah, when I
wasn’t the annoying little brother anymore, you guys were gone and busy with your own
lives. I get it.” He shot Landry a look. Were his eyes full of heat, or was that just Landry’s
currently overactive imagination? “I guess we’re gonna be making up for lost time
now.”

Landry swallowed hard. “Guess we are.”

“Don’t sound like I’m gonna march you down to the
cliff and push you right off,” Riley said, laughing. “I promise it won’t hurt too much to get to
know me.”

Oh, it wouldn’t hurt at all.

What was going to hurt the most was keeping his
hands off.

“Is that what all the boys say to you?” Landry teased
before he could reel the words back.

Riley fluttered his eyelashes. God, he was temptation
incarnate. “The girls, too. I don’t discriminate, baby.”

“Right.” Landry wanted to say, me too, as
long as the guys look like you
, but he didn’t because what if this wasn’t what this was?
What if he was wrong?

Then there was the fact he knew enough about
coming out that it wasn’t necessarily right to do it just because he enjoyed flirting so much
with Riley—and wanted him to keep doing it.

“Though,” Riley said, shooting him another look from
underneath those killer lashes, “I do tend to prefer the boys, so you’re not entirely
wrong.”

Landry swallowed hard. “Is that…is that a thing? Can
that be a thing? A preference even if you’re bisexual?”

“Of course it can. Sexuality is a pretty fluid thing when
it comes down to it. Surely I don’t have to tell you that.” Riley had gone back to chopping
lettuce, like their conversation wasn’t sending shockwaves through Landry.

He means: surely, your brothers explained that to
you. Not that you personally are…well…
fluid.

But maybe he was. More than he’d ever imagined he
was.

“Logan and Levi are less on the fluid side of
things,” Landry explained.

“Ah yes, your brothers. The ones who would’ve
apparently found me irresistible.” Riley grinned.

They wouldn’t be the only ones.

Landry flushed. The way Riley was looking at him with
those gorgeous eyes, like he could see right through him, down to the place where he was
questioning everything, and unlike Landry, it was like he knew exactly what all this
meant.

Even if he couldn’t possibly.

“Don’t tell me that isn’t normal for you,” Landry said,
trying to equal Riley’s casual approach to the subject of just how fucking hot he
was.

But Riley just shrugged. “Don’t tell me you wouldn’t
love it if, every once in a while, people saw you as more than a pair of pecs and a head of
blond hair? I kinda liked it better when I was that scrawny kid nobody paid attention
to.”

Even if Landry ignored how he looked, giving his looks
the barest attention in the mirror every morning, he knew people still watched him.
Approached him. Felt like they deserved a piece of him.

“Yeah, I get that,” Landry said quietly.

Now, suddenly, it was hard to see Riley as just
his abs and his biceps and those dreamy eyes.
